Breeze was the small kit beside it; Jetstream added teams, two-factor and API tokens, with Fortify underneath. The 2025 starter kits succeed both, have used Fortify since September 2025 and offer teams as an option. Jetstream's role has passed to them.

Parts
1 Views. Login, two-factor, profile, API tokens and team screens, published into your app and styled with Tailwind.
2 Stack. Livewire with Blade, or Inertia with Vue. Chosen once at jetstream:install; both get the same features.
3 Actions. app/Actions/Fortify and app/Actions/Jetstream: user creation, password reset, team actions. Edited in place.
4 Fortify. Underneath: the authentication portions of Jetstream are Fortify's routes. config/fortify.php is installed too.
5 Sanctum. With --api: token screens over Sanctum, so a user can mint and revoke personal access tokens from their profile.
6 Teams. --teams: team models, membership, a current team on the user, and invitations once switched on in config.
Hidden joinery
Install also drops in feature tests for everything it scaffolds. The GitHub README says the kit is for Laravel 11.x and prior, though composer.json accepts 13; the docs site does not say so. Releases continue: 5.5.3 in May 2026, the same day as Breeze 2.4.2. One password-rules trait is shared by the create, reset and update actions.
